For
the past 4 years, the World Cyber Games (WCG) has served as the ultimate
battleground for computer gamers the world over. On September 8 - 10 this
year, cyber warriors will clash in New York to find out who will represent
the U.S.A. in the WCG 2005 Grand Finals which will be held November 16 -
20 in Singapore. Around 800 international finalists will compete for top
prizes and the honor of being world champions.
For the second year in a row, OPTI-UPS is the official UPS provider for the
U.S. leg of the WCG. This year, OPTI-UPS took it one step further by designing
a special gaming UPS in time for the World Cyber Games. The OPTI-UPS gaming
series GS1100B UPS was specifically designed with the gaming industry
in mind. Each gaming rig will be provided with the GS1100B UPS power protection,
giving gamers total assurance of undisturbed playing time.
